Is it possible? If yes, delete the version in Photos and reimport the exported version. If you can export the unmodified original, try, if you can open it with Preview. Have you tried to export the unmodified original with "File > Export > Export unmodified original"? Then the Photos Library has a preview of the image. I can enlarge them in Photos to full size, no pixelation, so it must be accessing something, although it tells me that I cannot edit them. (Why can't Photos be less buggy/issue free like Lightroom?) Please, any and all advice (I have medium Mac/computer knowledge) would be really appreciated. Can I scrap it and start all over by re-inputing all the thousands of pictures? But how? Would you suggest I just abandon Mac Photos once and for all (it seems that many, MANY people have issues like this with it) and then go with another Photo Manager? I would, if Photos is beyond saving in my case, but how will I be able to export them? What happened to my Photos? Repairing it hasn't helped at all. (It's grayed out.) I can enlarge them in Photos to full size, no pixelation, so it must be accessing something, although it tells me that I cannot edit them. FatCats Queen Creek- Movies, Bowling, Arcades & More Attention Guests: Attention FatCats Gilbert Guests: Bowling lanes will be unavailable from 11am to 1:30 and limited after that until 5:30 on Saturday, June 18th. I have used FatCat 'PowerPhotos' to test-so very many photos don't allow me to "Reveal Original Photo in Finder". My Photos Library is on an external drive due to its size. Says " Missing cpl resource required for CPL download" or "Incorrect parameter: itemScopedIdentifier," depending on the picture. I cannot share them in any way, nor export. They upload from my iPhone easily enough, but that's it. Mac Photos hasn't worked properly for a long, long time. I have asked this before, but still no luck.
